Students are encouraged to become involved throughout their years at Thornton Academy-to take advantage of all of the opportunities TA has to offer both inside and outside of the academic curriculum. During their time at Thornton, students can express themselves in Arts Club, sing with the Concert Choir, argue contemporary topics with the Debate Team or develop their leadership skills as a member of student council. Students can exercise their bodies as well as their minds by playing for Thornton on one of our many athletic teams. Much is learned by the relationships that students forge with fellow students and adults throughout the four years of high school. Many years from graduation, friendships formed with peers and adults through cooperation and teamwork will create some of a student's best memories of Thornton Academy. These meaningful interactions are what make each student and his or her experience of Thornton Academy truly unique.
