The Thornton Academy Alumni Office welcomes you to the Thornton Academy Website. Founded by the graduating class of 1890 and later restarted in 1988 after remaining dormant for decades, the Thornton Academy Alumni Association is dedicated to connecting Thornton Academy alumni and establishing and strengthening alumni relationships with the academy through class reunions, social events and volunteerism.
 Alumni House |
The Alumni Office, part of Thornton's Finance & Community Relations Office, is located in the Thornton Academy Alumni House. Built in 1828 by Moses Emery, a prominent Saco lawyer, the home was one of the grandest in the community. Thornton Academy purchased the home in the early 1900's and quickly began its transformation. Alumni and faculty alike will recall that Thornton Academy's Alumni House has provided a home for many Thornton faculty members and their families over the years. Following renovations in 2001, the home now houses Thornton's offices for Communications, Finance and Development, in addition to the Alumni Office.
We encourage you to stop by the Alumni Office for a visit. Our office is located on the first floor of the Thornton Academy Alumni House, the large white house located between the Headmaster's House and Paul S. Hill Jr. Stadium on the Thornton Academy campus. For more detailed directions, check out our campus map.
